These terms apply to earththatday.com and to anything you order from us. By using this site or placing an order you agree to them.

1. Who we are

Earth That Day is a store operated from 30 N Gould St, Sheridan WY 82801, United States. You can reach us at support@earththatday.com.

2. What we sell

We sell personalised wall prints. For a date and a place you choose, we draw the wind, the weather, or the Earth itself using satellite and weather data from that date, and print the result. Every print is our artistic impression of the actual imaging and weather data — it is a piece of art, not a scientific instrument, a forecast, or a navigational or meteorological record, and should not be relied on as one.

3. Orders

An order is an offer to buy, which we accept when we charge your payment method and send a confirmation. Because each print is made to order, we may decline or cancel an order and refund you in full — for example if a date or place cannot be drawn, if a price was listed in error, or if payment cannot be verified.

4. What you enter

You are responsible for the name, date, place, title and dedication you enter. We print them as typed, in capitals, and ask you to confirm them on screen first. You must have the right to use any name or text you submit, and must not submit anything unlawful, hateful, obscene, or infringing someone else's rights. We may refuse or cancel an order containing such text and refund you.

5. Prices and payment

Prices are in US dollars and may change, but changes do not affect orders already accepted. Sales tax is added at checkout where it applies. Payment is taken through Shopify's payment providers; we do not store your card details.

6. Delivery, returns and refunds

7. Intellectual property

The artwork, the way the data is drawn, and the site itself belong to Earth That Day and are protected by copyright. When you buy a print you get the print and a licence to use the artwork for your own personal, non-commercial use. You may not resell it, reproduce it commercially, or redistribute a digital copy without our written permission. The underlying weather and satellite records are public and are not owned by us.

8. The site and previews

We work to keep the site and its previews accurate and available, but cannot promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. A preview on screen is an indication: colour on a screen differs from ink on paper, and small differences in trimming and framing are normal.

9. Liability

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

10. Privacy

How we handle personal information is set out in our Privacy policy.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, United States, whose courts have jurisdiction, except where the law of the state you live in gives you rights that cannot be removed.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. The version published here when you place an order is the one that applies to it.
